As you enter the doors of Harvest Church, this is what you'll experience:
• Our lobby is a casual place for coffee and conversation. Grab a cup of joe while you chat with Pastor Joe, put seven creamers in it if you want to (he won't judge), and then grab a sermon notes page from one of our ushers as you head for the worship center.
• If you have kids, babies through 6th grade, we've got classrooms for them (more on Harvest Kids here)(https://www.harvestchurch.tv/kids). If you'd prefer to sit in service with your kids, that works too. If they are young and fidgety, we just ask that you sit toward the back so it's easy to exit if the little ones become distracting. We do play a livestream of our service in the lobby and our Mother's Room in case you have to step out.
• Next, bring that lactose-laden coffee right on into the worship center. You'll want to be at least five minutes early, because we typically kick off services a few minutes ahead of start time with a fun song or celebration video. Our band has been known to demand more cowbell, pay tribute to 80s classics, and even go full-on barefoot hillbilly. You just never know what you're going to witness.
• Once things get rolling, you can expect a brief greet and announcements followed by a time of worship through music. The songs we play are usually current (released within the last five years), but we do throw in a hymn or an old classic now and then. More on our worship experience here.(https://www.harvestchurch.tv/worship)
• Make sure you hit the restroom before service, because after worship, we'll settle in for about four hours of expository teaching. JUST KIDDING. We keep our sermons to about 30 minutes or less and the whole service lasts about 65 minutes. While sipping on your coffee, enjoy listening to our talented, actively engaged, down-to-earth and fun pastoral staff as they share personal stories relevant to the theme or series we are working in. We also sometimes host guest speakers.
• As service comes to a close, you can usually expect another worship song, a time of prayer, and a blessing. Once a month we wrap up service with communion. On communion days, you'll see baskets of elements (that's the bread and wine/juice) on tables at the entrances. Be sure to grab one on the way in if you'd like to participate. However, there is no pressure to do so.
• As you exit the service, please feel free to stay and visit with any of our staff at the HUB. They would love to get to know you or help you with anything you or your family might need.
