We should be worshipping God all week. Sunday is just an overflow of our praise and an opportunity to express it together with other people (who most likely sing off-key and clap on the 1 and 3). But God loves a joyful noise, so it's OK to get a little undignified. 

That said, our team strives for excellence from the stage and takes seriously (in a non-curmudgeony way) the privilege of leading worship. We hope to set the table for what the Holy Spirit is going to do in your heart.

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice — the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. — Romans 12:1
