Summer Camps

Who can attend?

The middle school camp is open to all students in grades 6-8 for the 2021-2022 school year.

Where is Beartooth Christian Camp

Beartooth Christian Camp is located in Fishtail, MT, in the Beartooth Mountains.

Are meals included?

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided and are included in the registration fee. Snacks are available at an additional cost in the camp store.

Is transportation to and from camp provided?

Harvest Students will provide transportation to and from Beartooth Christian Camp. We'll have more information about the transportation schedule as we get closer to July.

Where will I sleep? Can I choose my bunk mates?

Students will sleep in cabins with 6-8 other students of the same gender. Upon registration, you will be asked to provide the names of up to two other students you would like to bunk with. We will do our best to honor those requests.

Are there additional expenses?

Registration includes:

•  MOTION conference
•  Meals at conference
•  Housing
•  Local transportation in Birmingham

Additional Costs:

•  Transportation to and from Birmingham
•  Meals outside of conference
•  Spending/shopping money

What will my student do while away?

Itinerary

July 27 - Arrive in Birmingham
July 28 - Afternoon conference check-in. Conference starts @ 7 pm.
July 29 - MOTION Conference
July 30 - MOTION Conference
July 31 - Attend Sunday services at Church of the Highlands. Hangout & fellowship.
August 1 - Return travel.

How will my student get to Birmingham?

Students have two options for travel to and from Birmingham:

1. Air Transportation:  You may book your own airline reservations. Students must fly into Birmingham, and they must arrive no later than 3:00 pm Thursday, July 28. Students flying are encouraged to arrive on Wednesday, July 27. Return travel must be booked to leave Birmingham on Monday, August 1.
2. Vehicle Transportation:  To help with the rising cost of airfare, we are offering an option to drive to Birmingham. The cost for this option is $155 per student. We will leave on Tuesday, July 26 and arrive back in Billings on Tuesday, August 2.

Will someone fly with my student to Birmingham?

We will not provide chaperones to fly with your student to Birmingham. We will meet them at the airport and transport them to our reserved lodging, and provide transportation to the airport for their return.
