Dear Harvest Family & Friends,

I made a lady mad the other day driving (without breaking the law). She followed me into the church parking lot and as I was disappearing into the building she yelled, “You’re exactly what I thought you’d be ... and you make me SICK!” And then she took pictures of my truck and license plate. Pastor Adam rebuked me for pulling into the church parking lot. He said I should have pulled into a different church parking lot. He was right, so I had him go out there and introduce himself ... as Pastor Vern. 🙂

It’s a tense time. We are working and praying and trying to get everyone back together. Please pray for your pastors and Church Council as we will meet next week to determine next steps regarding our in-person Sunday gatherings. Thank you for all the encouragement your church staff and leaders have been receiving from you. It really helps. And thank you for continuing to worship God through your financial tithes and gifts. We are holding it together and are prayerfully positioning ourselves for fun and fruitful ministry in the days ahead. One of the ways Ramie and I make sure to stay consistent in our generosity is through online giving. If you haven’t started that yet, summer would be a really good time! You can get going here

A couple things to be aware of:

LaVie Baby Bottle Drive Father's Day is the last day of the LaVie Baby Bottle Drive. Give online at

Virtual Lobby Pastor Alex is opening a Zoom link at the end of each service for anyone who would like to visit with a pastor about getting connected at Harvest — even and especially during these weird days. We are calling it the Virtual Lobby. Look for the link during the online weekend broadcast.

See you Sunday online. It's Father's Day and we will talk about Job (not job, but Job) and his amazing comeback. (Weird topic for Father's Day, or maybe not ...) And there is a chance for a giveaway for the dads. And a Top 10 list featuring my friend Alan. It'll be a good way to start your day.

Love you and hope to see you soon,
